I know dressers are insanely priced but I went to http://www.ltdcommodities.com/home/catalog/cat_item_pg.asp?G=480&P=12&Rec=14&N=37+6&Nao=60&R=3246

Our crib was bought for us, and it is a convertable, but I don’t know how much it cost.

get a 4in1 crib + bed … goto babies r u or buy buy baby … they initiation from 300 to all the 1000 … they have some excellent sturdy ones for 399 … ellis brand.

    also try the below source.

get on craigslist.com here you will need to click on baby iteams. you will be able to buy used and some new stuff here for real excellent prices. since babys tend to out grow things long before things wear out. other moms sell things they no longer need/use. the web site is like yard sales on your computer, and right in your own town.

  4. Check out Walmart.com. You’ll be able to find the stuff you’re looking for at a honestly reasonable price. If you’re wanting to buy all 3 seperate pieces then you’re looking at around $500. But you can check out a nice convertable crib (around $150) and then find a changing table/dresser combo (around $200).

Check out these two items as examples.

i am having a granddaughter in a couple of months if i were you i would do what i did.i went to a garage sale i spent 500.00 on a 2year ancient crib orthopedic mattress it has a side for infant and a side for kid , baby carriage car-seat combo, cradle with bumper pad. blankets onsies, maternity clothes, sleepers. these items were all in mint condition a teacher and chiropractor was selling them i just reckon if you find the right sale you can get nice things for low-cost other wise i want to say you are going to be looking at 189.00 for a car-seat combo. 100.00 for a changing table which i never used with my kids.and 100.00 to 300.00 for a nice bed and anywhere from 35.00-60.00 for a excellent mattress if not more depending on what you want. the crib that i bought they said they paid 1000.00 for with the mattress so i got one heck of a deal that day

I reckon you spend on average between 2000 and 3000 for necessities in the first few months.

  7. Ciera says:

I brought a crib (converts to a kid bed), changing table, and dresser for only $189.00 at Walmart. Its called the Simplicity Nursery In a Box. I know, sounds to excellent to be right but the wood (cherry, oak, or white) is really excellent quality and very pretty. I brought the oak set for my son. Simple to assemble and very sturdy!
